Ozinga Chapel’s towering, 46-rank pipe organ comes alive as IPO lowers the curtain on its 47^th season. Alcee Chriss III, is an organist and keyboardist from Fort Worth, Texas. A featured star in the 2019 PBS documentary Pipe Dreams, Dr. Chriss is the winner of the 2017 Canadian International Organ Competition and the Firmin Swinnen Silver Medal at the 2016 Longwood Gardens International Organ Competition.  In July 2022 he was a featured performer at the national convention of the American Guild of Organists.  The epic evening concert will also feature 2023/24 IPO Composer-in-Residence Oswald Huỳnh’s third commission for IPO.

Pre Concert Lecture hosted by Dr. Mark Peters featuring Alcee Chriss III begins at 6:30p
