Performing a collection of some of the season’s favorites, the IPO Holiday Festival is a great way to celebrate with friends and family alike. Alongside the award winning orchestra, the Chicago Community Chorus will lend their thunderous talents to the evening’s program.

In an evening custom built for Valentine’s Day, world renowned pianist Anastasiya Poff, wife of IPO’s esteemed Gibb Music Director Stilian Kirov, takes center stage to lead this romantically tinged program. The performance will include Fanny Mendelssohn’s Overture in C major along with Selim Palmgern’s Piano Concerto No. 2 and Robert Schumann’s Symphony No. 4.

Welcome spring with one of classical music’s most recognizable works, Antonio Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons. Antonín Dvořák’s cheerful and melodic piece for string orchestra, Serenade in E major op. 22 is known for its light, graceful character, often described as idyllic and peaceful.
